Joining the waitlist for a Higher State Surfboard requires a 10% deposit of AU$250​ to secure your position. This deposit ensures your spot in the production queue and demonstrates your commitment to receiving a Higher State Surfboard.

After this, you will have an email sent to you with details on how to finalise your position on the waitlist.

Your custom order involves two progress payments before final delivery:
1. Holding Deposit — paid to join the waitlist and secure your position
2. Commencement Deposit — paid when your build slot is confirmed to begin shaping
3. Final Payment — due once your board is completed and ready for freight or pickup.

The commencement deposit is only due when your build slot becomes available — not immediately.

Deposits are non-refundable as they secure materials, scheduling and shop time allocation.

Shipping is customer-paid. We can freight boards worldwide — including to Asia, the USA, and Europe — with a little extra planning. If you're outside Australasia, please contact us first so we can help arrange the best freight option. Insurance, customs duties, and import fees are to be paid by the customer and can be discussed during freight planning.
